JEWELRY CARE
At DILLEN we like to use a multitude of different metals to create our fashion and fine jewelry. Our chief priority at DILLEN is to create high quality handmade jewelry and the most reasonable prices for our customers. We design using white gold, yellow gold, platinum, brass, and nickel. Below is an overview on how to best care for your DILLEN jewelry to ensure the life of the piece.
BRASS:
Our bangles are made out 100% solid brass (gold) and nickle (silver). Brass To ensure the life of brass jewelry, do not expose it to water. Please remove your jewelry while exercising, bathing, and swimming, and avoid contact with perfumes, lotions or hair products.
DILLEN recommends cleaning your brass jewelry using a brass polish cleaners. We use Wrights Brass cleaner on all of our brass products .We have Wrights Brass Cleaner available on our website for purchase. Do not use harsh chemicals, jewelry cleaners, or polishing cloths, as this will affect the finish. We suggest storing your brass jewelry in the box or pouch that we provide. Please remember that as this is not fine jewelry, DILLEN highly recommends that you follow these instructions carefully to insure the life of the piece
GOLD:
To care for your DILLEN fine jewelry, we recommend cleaning it with a mild detergent or ammonia solution. You can use a soft brush but avoid using an abrasive material as it can scratch the gold. Be sure to rinse and wipe clean before wearing.
PEARLS:
If you have a jewelry piece that contains a pearl, extra care should be taken. Cultured pearls are precious jewels and should be treated accordingly. Cosmetics, hair sprays, and perfume should be applied before putting on pearl jewelry. Extra care can be taken by wiping the pearl carefully with a soft cloth to remove any traces of these substances when you take off the jewelry. You can also wash your pearl with mild soap and water. Do not clean cultured pearls with any chemicals, abrasives or solvents.
Our signature bangles are offered in two different sizes - SM, and MM. SM measuring 2.4 inches (inside diameter) and MM measuring 2.5 inches (inside diameter). In order to get the correct size, we recommend measuring out the lengths of both sizes on and 8x11 peice of paper and cutting length wise a thin strip of paper. Wrap the piece of paper around your wrist to mimic the two bangles sizes. Please also consider the size of your hand when choosing a bangle size.

SIZING
All custom fine jewelry sales are final. Certain fine jewelry pieces may be exchanged or returned in DILLEN's discretion within 20 days of purchase, subject to a stocking fee. You are responsible for all shipping costs for returns and exchanges. Custom items or made to order pieces are non refundable.
Brass collection jewelry may be exchanged for a store credit or for an alternate size within 7-10 days of receipt, subject to DILLEN's assessment as to whether the jewelry is in the same condition that it was purchased. Custom items or made to order pieces are non refundable. If you purchased a DILLEN piece of jewelry from an outside retailer and would like to exchange or return it, you must bring the piece to the original retailer where the item was purchased. We are not responsible for any jewelry not purchased directly from DILLEN
